HOW YOU CAN HELP SUPPORT THE CENTER

Donation/Tax Information

Thanks for seeking more information on helping support the Scottish Rite Speech Therapy Center.  Should you need more information or if you have questions, please contact our Center either by email or by telephone, and we will be pleased to answer your questions.

The Robert E. Asker Scottish Rite Speech Therapy Center for Children is organized as a charity under IRS Regulations 501 (c) (3), and as such, contributions are deductible on income tax filings to the full extent allowed by law.

The first option to donate is to make your contribution using PayPal through this website.  However, you can also make cash contributions by sending your check to the Center at P.O. Box 2094, Bismarck, ND 58502-2094.

All contributions are used for direct client care, except for a small amount for utilities, and minimum overhead expenses.  Other than for the professional speech/language therapist, provided under contract, there is no paid staff.

You may wish to make memorial or honorarium contributions in the name of a dear departed person, or in the name of a person you wish to honor for their good work.  All memorial or honorarium donations are acknowledged to both the donor and to the family of the deceased or to the honored individual.

You may wish to join the 365 Club for an annual contribution of $200.00 which will pay all operating costs of the Center for one whole day.  Simply enclose a note with your check indicating the day of the year you would like to sponsor, and any special notes – for example, anniversary, birthday, etc.

Sometime family members of children who have been treated at the Center, or other supporters of the Center’s efforts, wish to make more substantial donations to the Center.  Should you wish to include the center in your estate plan or if you wish to make a donation of appreciated shares of stock, real estate, mineral interests or other property, please contact the Center and we will be in touch with you to offer whatever assistance we can to help you make the donation of your choosing.

Working together, we can help children communicate  -------- one child at a time.
